If you time out of the SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.x / 5.3.x application while editing a file in the SAS session editor, the process that saves open files to the recovered files area saves the files and, in parallel, also updates an index, which tracks the recoverable files.
However, if the session saved files and the index become out of sync, recoverable files might cease to appear in the recovered files list.
One confirmed condition that results in the files and index being out of sync is when the system exhausts disk space while attempting to save a recovered file. Note: There can be additional scenarios that produce the same results.
To address this issue if it arises, you should delete all recoverable files from the recovered files area in the session editor.
Even if no recoverable files are listed, perform the delete action regardless. The action should restore the file recovery function.
The issue is fixed in SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.
